The brain is most complex organ of the human body, brain is situated in the cephalic region, it is well protected by the skull and meninges, the brain contains fluid called cerebrospinal fluid CSF, the CSF is produced by cells in the ventricular system, the cerebrospinal fluid is present in brain and spinal cord. the brain is divided into three main regions, these the fore brain, mid brain and hind brain. the forebrain is also called prosencephalon, it is divided into telencephalon and Diencephalon. The prosencephalon is highly developed part of the brain which consists the cerebral hemispheres, these are the left and right. the cerebrum is the largest part of the brain which is involved in many functions, the cerebrum is divided into lobes these are, Frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe and temporal lobes. the diencephalon consists of thalamus and limbic system. thalamus serves as central clearing house for all sensation. limbic system is set of complex brain structures that are located on the both sides of thalamus. the limbic system consists of hypothalamus, amygdala and hippocampus. Mid brain is also called mesencephalon, the mid brain is associated with vision, hearing, motor control and sleep/ wake. Hind brain also referred as rhombencephalon, the hind brain consists of medulla oblongata, cerebellum and reticular formation. the brain stem is the part of the brain that connects the brain with the spinal cord and the rest of the body. #science #brain #health #neuroscience #videohttps://youtu.be/0cP0HRMR58A
